If the money is in stock then there is the risk that particular  stocks  will loose value. BTW, what happened to the stock prices and values in Germany 1920&#039;s and in Zimbabwe in past decade?Any way, given the economical mess that the governments have created for us, it would be very difficult to grow the fund steadily through all the hardships (inflation, hyper-inflation, stocks plummeting, nationalization, currency controls, price controls, capital controls, war, taxation, confiscation).
